Knoxville Entrepreneur Center announces 100Knoxville Spring 2022 cohort, sponsored by FirstBank.

The Knoxville Entrepreneur Center (KEC) is excited to announce the next cohort of 100Knoxville founders. Five founders have been matched with an all-star team of mentors for a 5-week sprint that kicked off in April 2022 to clarify strategy, make connections across the entrepreneurial community, improve operations, and, most importantly, increase sales. “I love being a mentor with the 100 Knoxville program.” said Damon Rawls, 100Knoxville mentor and founder of the Knoxville Black Business Directory. “100Knoxville provides Black founders with the tools they need to start and run sustainable businesses. Whether they are in the proof of concept phase or have been in business for several years. Everyone receives immense value from this program.”

Meet the founders and their mentors: 

PeeJay Alexander - Purple Mouse Smart House  , paired with mentor Dr. Angelique Adams. Purple Mouse Smart House is a smart home and property automation company specializing in the IoT (Internet of Things) for residential and commercial properties. 

April Hardin - Dream Institute and Dream Beauty Academy, paired with mentor Monty Howard. One stop beauty shop. Cosmetology School, Salon, Barbershop, and Fashion Boutique

Douglas Mapp - Think Up, paired with mentor Damon Rawls.
Think Up TN accelerate accomplishments by working with cognitive development professionals to improve the brain skills behind creativity and critical thinking, producing more work that matters.

Marcus Blair - Omega Digital Solutions, paired with mentor Harry Boston
Omega Digital Solutions takes the way you do business and process data and helps you leverage the right technology to maximize your company’s performance. 

Nicolsha Scott - Scott & Wright Constructon, paired with mentor Rob Cochran
Scott & Wright Construction focuses on trench digging for utilities line, fiber optics, and footers for homes.

Each company will also receive $5,000 towards growing their business thanks to our partner, FirstBank.
